Re-location
In celebration of our new shop Urban Upholstery will be open to all visitors wishing to find out more about our upholstery process with a live demonstaration and to buy or discuss a new piece of furniture from our collection of up-cycled furniture and cushions with a unique urban style, using recycled fabrics and frames.
Our range of furniture also includes pieces made using discarded wood, like multifunctional units, stools and benches. The display unit in the picture below was made with recycled floor panels from Solid Floor East London shop and it will be presented for the first time.
Shoreditch Triangle 2025 from 13/09/25 to 21/09/25 (excluding Sundays and Mondays)
Late Night Opening Tuesday the 16th of Sept 6-9pm at Urban Upholstery 11 Pearson Street, E2 8JD (Book with Eventbrite)
"Wool Tufted Mattress" We bring the traditional wool mattress making to a live creative and fun demonstration. During the 3 days workshop we will show all the steps to make a tufted mattress using carded wool. We will involve you in the skilled tasks of this process: stuffing, tufting and stitching the wool and using their antique button-making tool, you will contribute by making fabric covered buttons, which will then be used in the tufting process. From the 17th to the 19th of Sept from 11 am to 4 pm. (Book with Eventbrite)
